I'm baaaaaaacccckkkkk!

Holy cow! I had nooooo idea what fun this "road trip" thing could be. It was awesome! It was unbelievable! It was the best thing EVER! I did so many things, met so many people and smelled so many new smells while we were traveling.


I loved driving and looking out the window at all the new sites. Most of the time I'd sit on mommy or daddy's lap but I also had my kennel to sleep in if I needed some space.

It was fun stopping at the beaches along the coast and running! It was kindof weird running in the sand but I got used to it. There were some places that we went to that were WAY too hot for me! Mommy loved it and would lay outside all day but me and daddy hid indoors where there was air conditioning!

I had the best time with my cousins! They chased me around and walked me every day! I think I even lost some weight on this trip!

I'll be posting more pictures and telling you more stories about my adventures but right now I'm off to snuggle with daddy and catch up on my sleep.

I LOVE this place!!!

Oh my gosh!!!! Mommy and Daddy have been telling me for awhile that I was going to love this road trip thing. They were soooooo right! We're staying at this huge campground where I spend my time running and chasing birds. It is sooooo perfect! I love being free and having all this room to run and play!
Last night grandpa came out and we had a fire. He has the best lap ever! Mommy and Daddy also took me to a store and I was allowed to go inside. They bought me some new toys and a new leash and collar (Mommy told me that it'll match Uncle Josh's wedding colors but she said not to tell Daddy otherwise he'll think it's girly).

This is definitely the best trip ever!!!

FIRE!!!

I love summer! Mommy and Daddy stay home with me all day and we play, play, play!!! A couple nights ago Mommy and Daddy took me out to the beach for a bonfire. I got to sniff around the beach, play frisbee with my friend Noah and love on Aunt Molly.
We've also been taking lots of walks this summer. It seems like Mommy drags me down to Twin Lakes at least once a day. Sometimes she ties me up at the park so Erin's boys can play. I just hang out and watch the people walk by. Mommy says she's really proud of me for being such a good pup while I wait. I'm tempted to chew through my leash and go play with them but I know that would make her mad.
Mommy keeps telling me that we're leaving on something called a Road Trip soon. I'm not sure what it is but she tells me that we'll be driving and visiting lots of people. I think that I will like it because I LOVE driving and LOVE people!

I'm soooo hot!

It has been hot, hot, hot here!!! I love all the sunshine but it makes for one hot puppy! This week I had so much fun with my parents! They took me out for long walks and drives every night. Mommy even took me to play with my Logie friend (on a school night!!!).

I'm not sure how I'm going to survive on this little road trip my parents are planning to take me on. I made daddy carry me during our walk today while I huffed and puffed because it was just too darn hot!

the battle

Daddy and I have been battling over his leather chair. I just noticed how cool and comfortable this chair is! Now that I know how great Daddy's chair is I refuse leave it alone. Every time he gets up I race over and jump in it. I think he's starting to get a little annoyed but I WILL NOT give up!!! (plus, I'm way too cute to hate)

Dude will be going home soon. Her mommy & daddy are back in Ketchikan. They have a few things to finish up before Dude goes home and they all head out to Whale Pass. Tonight we had a little photoshoot. Enjoy!

what's wrong with my Linus friend??

Linus came home LATE Monday night and slept in my kennel all day. When Daddy came home from work on Tuesday he noticed that Linus was having a hard time walking and couldn't jump up to get his food. He was worried but didn't know what to do. He told me "we need mommy...she always knows how to take care of us." So, when mommy came home from her jewelry making class she checked on Linus and then called the vet.

Mommy & Daddy rushed Linus to the vet and I was very confused. What was wrong with him? Was my friend going to come back home? Linus NEVER goes to the vet! I hoped everything was ok.

When Mommy & Daddy came back home they told me that Linus had a puncture wound in his paw and that I'd have to be gentle with him for a couple of weeks. They put him in my kennel so he could have some quiet time and fed him dinner. I hope he gets better soon so we can play again!!!
