I'm soooo hot!

It has been hot, hot, hot here!!! I love all the sunshine but it makes for one hot puppy! This week I had so much fun with my parents! They took me out for long walks and drives every night. Mommy even took me to play with my Logie friend (on a school night!!!).

I'm not sure how I'm going to survive on this little road trip my parents are planning to take me on. I made daddy carry me during our walk today while I huffed and puffed because it was just too darn hot!

the battle

Daddy and I have been battling over his leather chair. I just noticed how cool and comfortable this chair is! Now that I know how great Daddy's chair is I refuse leave it alone. Every time he gets up I race over and jump in it. I think he's starting to get a little annoyed but I WILL NOT give up!!! (plus, I'm way too cute to hate)

Dude will be going home soon. Her mommy & daddy are back in Ketchikan. They have a few things to finish up before Dude goes home and they all head out to Whale Pass. Tonight we had a little photoshoot. Enjoy!

what's wrong with my Linus friend??

Linus came home LATE Monday night and slept in my kennel all day. When Daddy came home from work on Tuesday he noticed that Linus was having a hard time walking and couldn't jump up to get his food. He was worried but didn't know what to do. He told me "we need mommy...she always knows how to take care of us." So, when mommy came home from her jewelry making class she checked on Linus and then called the vet.

Mommy & Daddy rushed Linus to the vet and I was very confused. What was wrong with him? Was my friend going to come back home? Linus NEVER goes to the vet! I hoped everything was ok.

When Mommy & Daddy came back home they told me that Linus had a puncture wound in his paw and that I'd have to be gentle with him for a couple of weeks. They put him in my kennel so he could have some quiet time and fed him dinner. I hope he gets better soon so we can play again!!!

laying low..

We've all been laying low and hanging out this weekend. Mommy took me on a walk this morning and let me play at the twin lakes park. Usually, I have to be tied up to the fence because dogs aren't allowed in the park. I had so much fun playing with my Noah friend and looking for food at the park. I hope we can do it again soon!

I can't wait for summer!

Mommy and Daddy have been talking a lot about summer break and all the adventures we'll go on. They say we'll run around on a lot of beaches, drive and see all the new sights, visit family I haven't met yet and RELAX!!! This weekend I got a little taste of sunshine and beaches so I can't WAIT till summer!!!

going on an adventure!

Mommy just told me that I'll be going on a trip this summer! Last summer they left me here with Aunt Molly while they went to Australia. I had the best time with Aunt Molly but sure did miss my parents.
Mommy says were going to go on the ferry then drive down south. She says there are lots of cool things to see and lots of new things to SMELL!!!! Daddy says that he can't wait until I see my first cow. (What in the world is a cow???!!!!)
I also get to see my little cousin Chance again because his mommy & daddy are getting married! Mommy says that I can probably go to the wedding because it's an outdoor wedding. I'll just have to sit with grammy and grampy and NO barking!
OOOOOOHHHHH, I can't wait to be a traveling dog!
