Sleeping after Gold Rush Days

Gold Rush Days and that walk on the beach sure wore me out. Time for a nap.

Gold Rush Days - Day 10

Today we went down to Sandy Beach for Gold Rush days. It was nice to go to the beach. The day was cloudy, but no rain and it was warm. After we stopped by Gold Rush days Uncle Bob, Aunt Molly and I went for a walk along the beach. I got to run along the beach, eat some grass and just be a dog. Aunt Molly would run with me too and then we would stop and play a little. It was a good day.

A thought for days 8 & 9

Uncle Bob did it again: he let me out without my lease and I followed someone home. This time they had a treat and I followed Uncle Bob back home. I wonder if he'll learn? I hope not, it gets me treats!

Marley and Me - Day 7

Well, Aunt Molly and I were going to watch Marley and Me. I guess I did some sleeping instead.

Playin' at the beach - Day 6

Aunt Molly and I went to the beach today. We both needed to run around and burn off some energy. If anyone was watching they would think that we were crazy, dashing and wrestling around, it was a fun time and wore me out. Now I will sleep well.

The happenings of days 3, 4, and 5

Here are some of the things that happened:

I have started staying home with Uncle Bob until he goes to work. Then he drops me off to Aunt Molly. Well, he let me out, without my leash on, he couldn't find it. Aunt Molly said that it is hanging up by my bag. Anyway, he let me out and I saw this nice man, so I followed him into his place. Uncle Bob had to go and get a treat to lure me back to their place. I am a cleaver boy getting extra treats!

Aunt Molly and I spend time at Marine park on her breaks from work. I am starting to like it down there. The noises and all the people don't bother me as much as they used too. Plus, I am so cute and people love to stop and pet me. One day we meet some people the Aunt Molly knows and they gave me some popcorn. I need to keep working that angle - I love treats.

Uncle Bob puts yummies in my food dish when he's cooking. I get gravy and meat - it's so delicious!

As for an observation: the fish are still alive and seem to be doing fine, still in that glass thing though.

Condo Meeting

Aunt Molly took me to her condo meeting today. I had to wait in the car, but she said that our old friend Dave was there. He's on the condo board, which Aunt Molly is going to be on. I'll have to make sure and let my parents know she saw him.

Ridin' in my car

It makes Aunt Molly laugh how I sit up in the car with my little paw on the armrest, ears blowing in the wind. I love ridin' in my car.

I'm a good boy

This is were I sit while Uncle Bob is in the kitchen cooking up a storm. No one told me, it's just what I do. I impress them everyday with how good I am. Right now Uncle Bob is cooking up chicken wings and crab from there fishing trip today, the crab, not the chicken. They also brought home a fish, but they have lots of food so they are going to save that for later.
Early this evening while Aunt Molly and I were home alone I started barking a little. Aunt Molly asked me "what's the deal? There's no one here but us." Then she finally got it . . . it was 6 pm and I wanted my dinner. My aunt and uncle still have much to learn . . .

Playin' with my rope

Aunt Molly and Uncle Bob made me a rope so that we could play tug-a-war. Aunt Molly likes to do that. I like it too, it's fun.

Sniffin' around at the beach

Our plans to go for a hike today got changed. Instead Uncle Bob and Steven went out with Nate on the boat to fish. Aunt Molly and I went to Sandy Beach to run around. I just enjoyed sniffing around. I got interrupted a couple of times by a big dog who thought I was his little toy to pounce on (that irritates Aunt Molly). But we still enjoyed ourselves. It started raining pretty hard so we ended up coming home, but we did have a nice time.

The rest of the afternoon I have been napping and following Aunt Molly around while she cleans and does laundry. I don't think she enjoys the folding part. Ahh, off for another snooze. . .

My thoughts on Day 3

I am just so cute and they are eating out of my paw. We didn't do too much today. My auntie and uncle were pretty tired. The three of us napped most of the day while Steven went to the skate park. We are planning to go on a hike tomorrow. I am looking forward to that, you know how I lkie to get outside. The little deck is pretty cool, I go out there and put my nose in the air and sniff, sniff, sniff. I hope my parents are having fun.
PS The fish are all still here.

My thoughts on Day 2

Today was my auntie's birthday. She went to work in the morning, then we got to hang-out for a little bit before her, Steven and I all went to work. It ended up being a long day. The power went out downtown and we had to wait until the power came on We did get home until 10:30 pm. Glad they took me with them so I wasn't home alone all day and night.
In the morning while I was laying on the bed, Uncle Bob came in the room after his shower. That man needs to keep his towel on. H didn't know I was there so I saw him in his birthday suit and it wasn't even his birthday. He needs to wear a rode so it's not uncomfortable for both of us.

Chillin' with Uncle Bob

King of the Bed

Yeap, that's me, gott'em rapped around my finger already!

Day 2 - Me and my ball

My thoughts of Day 1

I am starting to figure out that my parents went to a place called Australia. I am not sure what's there that they wanted to see, but I hope they'll be back soon. For now it seems I am staying with my aunt and uncle. I'm not sure what my parents were thinking, these people only have fish, swimming around in a tank. They have no idea how to take care of a dog. I have also heard that their fish get "replaced" alot and this usually happens when my aunt is home alone with them. Yikes!
Today I went with my aunt to work. She brought my kennel and I hung-out in the back of the truck while she worked. She came to check on me and even took me for a walk in the park. I am not sure how I feel about being downtown. There's lots of noises that I am not used to and they make me a little nervous.
After my auntie got off work we went and got my parents car. It was a little confusing at first, but it smelled like home. I think we're going to keep the car around, maybe I'll go hang-out in it when I am missing my parents.
It was hard to fall asleep when it was time for bed. My auntie and I slept on the coach last night, but it got a little cramped at times. Tonight we curled up in sleeping bags on the floor in the bedroom, but we just couldn't sleep. Plus Uncle Bob and Steven were talking and we could hear them. Finally auntie told Uncle Bob that she was tired, could hear them talking, which was keeping us up and that she and I were getting on the bed.

I know there's some yummy food under here . . . if only I could get to it.

My first night

My mom brought me over to my aunt and uncle's. I love to sniff around and check things out. I don't "hang-out" here much. Mostly just stop in on the way for a hike or garage saling (haven't done that in a while). Tonight feels a bit different though. My mommy gave me a bath and brought all my stuff. Hummm, they have been packing too.
My mommy stayed for a while, then she was gone. I cried a little, then we went for a walk. My aunt and uncle don't have any pets except for some things I see moving around in the water. They never go outside for a walk, I wonder what that is all about?
