The rest of the summer...

We've been having so much fun this summer that I haven't had time to blog lately. We came back from Anchorage and Mommy and Daddy have been taking me on so many adventures! We go for walks downtown, fishing on the beach, hikes in the woods and driving through town. Mommy and Daddy keep talking about this thing called school that they have to go back to. I have no idea what they're talking about. Crazy parents!

This little person is so much fun to be around! We both roll around on the floor, eat off the floor and play in the kennel! I wonder if we can take him home with us!

Anchorage

Yesterday, we left for this place called Anchorage. We went BACK to the AIRPORT!!!! How many times do these people have to visit the airport for crying out loud?
This time they told me that I could go with them. We got to the aiport with my kennel and chew toy but the man behind the counter told Mommy she would have to buy a new kennel because mine was the collapsable kind. Mommy wasn't very happy but she bought me a kennel and they loaded me onto the plane.
It was pretty scarey riding on the plane. I had to go below and ride with the luggage. The bag handlers were pretty cool. They tried petting me through the kennel and looked at the toy duck I was chewing on.
When we got to the airport Uncle Josh was there to pick us up. I got to ride in the car and we went to a park where I could run and play. There's this little person who smells like food here in Anchorage. Mommy says he's my cousin Chance. I really like following him around when he has food!

Wow, everybody is gone now! Mommy and Daddy have been taking me out a lot. We go to this place in Douglas and Daddy gets in his kayak and fishes while Mommy walks me up the beach. There are so many good things to smell on the beach! Sometimes Mommy takes pictures of me and Daddy (and even herself!) while we are having fun out there.

Mommy's home!

Mommy came home from Skagway! I was sooo happy to have her back. Although, while she was gone Daddy and I ate a lot of pizza, pizza rolls and pizza pockets. Daddy always makes sure I get people food when Mommy's gone.
I'm not really sure why but Mommy and Daddy are sleeping on their mattress pads in the guest bedroom. It's not very soft and cozy in there so last night I snuck out. I started off in the main bedroom where Grammy and Great Grammy were sleeping. I curled up with them on the comfy bed but they didn't snuggle like Mommy & Daddy do. Next, I went to visit Jess & Michael. They were pretty comfortable to sleep with and they'd even pet me a little but they didn't snuggle like Mommy & Daddy either! Finally, I went back into the guest room, nestled together a little bit of blanket and snuggled in between Mommy and Daddy. They're definitely the best snugglers ever!

People keep coming to my house!

Wow, after a few days with Grammy Pam all these other people show up! I have no idea who they are but Mommy tells me that it's my Great Grammy, Cousin Jessica and her husband Michael. They're really nice and Great Grammy tried giving me chocolate tonight. Too bad Grammy Pam told her to stop. I was so close to some yummy chocolate!
Mommy says she's taking all these people to Skagway tomorrow and is leaving me again. Mommy seems to leave a lot lately. I wonder if it's because I'm starting to smell funny.
I think I smell funny because Aunt Molly tried giving me a bath the other day. Aunt Molly didn't really know how to do it but she wanted me to smell nice for Mommy & Daddy. I got in the shower but it didn't feel like the shower I have at home. Aunt Molly tried putting soap on me but it didn't smell like the soap I use at home. Soooooo, I decided I would end my shower. =)
